    • Pilcher chart; served French and Indian War; in provincial gov in Pennsylvania
      S M Carothers letter (Carothers, early scraps file) says John lived in Cabarrus County before it was cut off
      from Mecklenburg and bought 105 acres on Anderson Creek from A and
      Justina Nash in Feb 1771. In 1782 in five separate deeds gave slaves
      and cattle to wife Elinor and daughters Mary, Isabel and Sarah and his
      105 acres to Elinor in his life and then to Mary.

      These deeds are also listed in Ferguson "Genealogical Deed Abstracts".
