Based on 1900 census, Frank Hatcher came to Texas between the fall of 1888 and the end of 1890. He may have been the first Hatcher to Bee County, or at least arrived about the same time as his half brother J E "Zeke" Hatcher.

by stroke, lived with brother William until death in 1813; his children
received inheritance from that brother William

The Master Spirit of Old Cumberland says Samuel died of "hemiplegia" after
a time of being speechless and helpless. His son Robert Looney Carothers
went to live with Robert Carothers, brother of Samuel's. Also gives dod
as 1813.

County North Carolina until 1804+; by 1810 to Lincoln County (later Marshall) TN, neighbor to
sisters Mary and Jane; was Major under Jackson in Creek War; had powder plant
and sold to Texas; plantation and powder plant was at town of "Browns Shop" in
corner of Marshall County near Lincoln and Bedford's County In fact this was Bedford County
earlier, but I don't think this is the William Carothers in the Bedford 1820 census
as the children's ages do not match exactly.
