Three small stones, marked with a "C" at Mars Hill
Cemetery near Adamsville, TN, are said by family tradition to note the grave
sites of Thomas Carothers and his son, Stuart Carothers, and Stuart's wife,
Jane Hastings Carothers.
From Highway 15, west of Adamsville, follow Route 224 north (towards
Leapwood), approximately six miles. The cemetery is clearly visible on the
east side of the road.
